Tuguegarao City - 14 Government Internship Program (GIP) beneficiaries will lend their assistance to the Department of Agriculture (DA) Regional Office No. 02 and 19 GIP beneficiaries for the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Regional Office No. 2, after a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) was signed with the DOLE RO2 at its conference hall on April 19, 2022.

The GIP interns for DA shall be deployed in Cagayan (6), Isabela (7) and Nueva Vizcaya (1) while the GIP interns for DICT shall be deployed in Cagayan (6), Isabela (13). They will render administrative support to the aforementioned government agency.

The interns shall render service for three to six months.

The MOA signing was led by Regional Director Joel M. Gonzales along with Assistant Regional Director Jesus Elpidio B. Atal, Jr. and Technical Support Services Division (TSSD) Chief Geraldine Labayani, while DA RO2 was represented by Regional Executive Director Narciso A. Edillo, DICT RO2 was represented by Engr. Ronald S. Bariuan, head of DICT Cagayan. ###
