Tuao, Cagayan - The DOLE-Cagayan Field Office (CFO) conducted monitoring of a Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) program pay-out in partnership with the Provincial Government of Cagayan through Governor Manuel N. Mamba and PESO Manager Ms. Mylene Peralta in this town recently. 

A total of 2,711 TUPAD beneficiaries received their salaries amounting to P3,700 each for 10 days of work rendered for clearing, cleaning and beautification of barangay roads and maintenance of communal gardens. 

Provincial Governor Manuel N. Mamba extended his sincerest gratitude to Secretary Silvestre “Bebot” H. Bello III as well as the DOLE RO2 and its Cagayan Field Office for the prompt and immediate support for beneficiaries of the province.

PESO Manager Mylene Peralta meanwhile reminded the TUPAD beneficiaries that their salaries will be given to them in the exact amount and that no one is authorized to deduct or reduce the said amount. 

“Ang inyong matatanggap na sahod ngayong araw na ito ay nagkakahalaga ng P3,700 at walang sinuman ang pwedeng makihati sa inyo dahil ito ay pinagpaguran ninyo ng sampung araw,” PESO Manager Peralta said. ###
