Cabarroguis, Quirino - The DOLE - Quirino Field Office (QFO) recently renewed its Safety Seal Certification for complying with safety and health protocols amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, this coming six months after first receiving the said seal. 

The brief event was led by Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Provincial Director Salvacion Z. Baccay and the evaluating team from the Provincial Philippine National Police (PNP) Office, Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) and the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) - Quirino. 

Director Baccay in her speech commended the Field Office staff and DOLE-QFO Head Laura B. Diciano for their consistent compliance with COVID-19 protocols. 

Chief Diciano stated in response that after being awarded with its first Safety Seal Certification that, “no one in the office caught COVID-19 thereafter.”

The office is equipped with a functional hand sanitizer dispenser, wall-mounted thermometer and other health and safety devices that assist its staff and client in preventing the spread of COVID-19.

Furthermore, all of the employees of DOLE-QFO are fully vaccinated and most of them already had their booster shots.

The field office first applied for the seal last July 2021 and was recognized as the first DOLE Field Office in the region to receive the Safety Seal Certification, ensuring the safety and health of everyone entering the office premises. 

Chief Diciano also said that the field office will be renewing its certification on or before it expires in continual compliance to health and safety measures. ###
