613 Disadvantaged/ Displaced Workers from Ramon, Isabela received their salaries worth P3,861,900 under the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) program on May 5, 2023.
The pay-out was facilitated by the Department of Labor and Employment Regional Office No. 2 through its Isabela Field Office (IFO).
The activity was led by DILEEP focal person of District III & IV, Peczon Topinio and his team.
The TUPAD beneficiaries rendered (15) days of community work through clean-up and beautification of public facilities in their respective barangays.
TUPAD is a community-based package of assistance that provides emergency employment for underemployed, displaced and seasonal workers, for a minimum of period of 10 days, but not to exceed a maximum of 30 days.
The type of project are social community projects such as the repair and improvement of public facilities, economic community projects like the rehabilitation of farm-to-market roads and agro-forestry community projects such as tree planting and reforestation. ###
