2,618 TUPAD beneficiaries in Isabela receive over P11.8M salaries

 

The Department of Labor and Employment Regional Office No. 2 (DOLE-RO2) through its Isabela Field Office (IFO) conducted a series of payouts to 2,618 Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) program amounting to P11,863,000.00 in 6 Isabela towns from May 5 to May 12, 2023.

The beneficiaries include 613 from San Mateo, 905 from Ramon, 350 from Cabagan, and 250 each for the towns of Delfin Albano, Sto Tomas, and Sta Maria.

In a message, San Mateo, Isabela Mayor Gregorio Pua expressed his gratitude to DOLE for their continued support to the displaced and disadvantaged workers.

Meanwhile, 1st District of Isabela Congressman Antonio ‘Tonypet Albano attended the payouts for the towns of Cabagan, Delfin Albano, Sta Maria and Sto Thomas.

In a message, Congressman Albano also acknowledged DOLE for its response to the economic needs of the displaced and marginalized workers.

TUPAD or Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers is a community-based package of assistance that provides emergency employment for displaced workers, underemployed and seasonal workers, for a minimum period of 10 days, but not to exceed a maximum of 30 days, depending on the nature of work to be performed. ###
