Claveria, Cagayan – The Public Employment Service Office Managers Association of Cagayan Valley (PESOMACV) held its 2nd Quarterly Meeting at the Ocean Inn, Claveria, Cagayan with the presence and guidance of the DOLE Regional Office No. 02 on May 17-18, 2023.
The meeting was led by DOLE RO2 OIC-Regional Director Jesus Elpidio B. Atal, Jr. while Claveria, Cagayan Mayor Lucille Angelus Guillen Yapo attended the opening program to deliver the opening remarks.
The said meeting was presided by PESOMACV President Cora Miranda Pua and focused on discussions pertaining to the Regional PESO Midyear Performance Assessment as well as the upcoming DOLE-PESO sportsfest to be held in the City of Ilagan, Isabela later this year.
In addition, the activities lined-up for the upcoming Kalayaan Job Fair in celebration of the 125th Independence Day were also discussed.
Entries for the Search for Best PESO were also presented to the attending PESOMACV officers.
Other PESO-related matters were also raised by the officers per province, citing their concerns in the delivery of employment services to their community.
A short orientation on the roll-out of DOLE’s Training and Advisory Visits (TAV) was also presented by Technical Support Services Division (TSSD) Chief Laura B. Diciano.
The activity was also attended by Assistant Regional Director, Atty. Nepomuceno A. Leaño II, Employment Unit Head, Ms. Kathlyn Sabado and the PESO focal persons of the different field offices of the DOLE Region 02. ###
