The DOLE Region 02 through its Nueva Vizcaya Field Office (NVFO) facilitated a Job Fair at the Municipal Pavilion of Bambang, Nueva Vizcaya in celebration of the 121st Labor Day and town fiesta of Bambang on May 1, 2023.
Eleven (11) Employers, 8 for Local Employment and 3 for International Employment, attended the activity and posted a total of 378 job vacancies. Four (4) were hired on the spot from a total of 30 qualified job seekers who registered for the job fair.
Local Employers who attended the event include the Alpachem Trading Corporation, Magic Appliance Center Inc., Didipio Community Development Corporation, Bruce-Francis Marketing, SNV Resources Development Corporation, Toyota Isabela, Inc., Sanford Marketing Corporation in SaveMore Market, and Staff Search Asia Service Cooperative-Jollibee.
A.Kanan Manpower Corp., Ascend International Services, and Saint Rosalia International Recruitment Agency office located at Solano, Nueva Vizcaya are the Overseas Employers who participated in the Job Fair and posted 237 job vacancies.
Job seekers who intend to work abroad were facilitated by the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) to reduce the risk of illegal recruitment. Moreover, the activity also helps participating establishments in their recruitment and hiring processes under the supervision of DOLE. ###
