Department of Labor and Employment Region 02 conducts an online Employers’ Special Meeting via ZOOM platform on April 17, 2023.
The meeting was called to apprise participating establishments for the upcoming Labor Day Celebration on May 1, 2023 at SM City Tuguegarao.
Forty-eight (48) representatives from various establishments attended and actively interacted during the meeting.
Pre-Labor Day activities and a discussion on the portal to be used in the activity as well as the updates on the logistics were the highlights of the meeting presented by Ms. Kathlyn Sabado and Mr. Jonnel Domingo.
OIC-Regional Director – Jesus Elpidio B. Atal, Jr. graced the said activity and in his message, he stated: “one of the contributors of a successful jobfair is the Hired on-the-spot (HOTS) applicants, so we highly encourage employers to hire applicants on the spot on May 1st.”
