The DOLE Region 02 facilitated the payment of retirement and other unpaid benefits of a Tuguegarao City worker worth P534,690.00 through the DOLE Single-Entry Approach (SEnA) intervention on March 31, 2023.

The amount covers the worker’s unpaid retirement benefit, cash bond, unused leave benefits and final pay.

The beneficiary worked for an establishment in Manila as a Salesman for more than 22 years and retired from his post on January 7, 2022.

The worker sought for the DOLE’s assistance for his monetary claims this March which led to the payment of unpaid benefits on the said date.

The awarding of benefits was witnessed by DOLE RO2 Technical Support Services Division (TSSD) Supervising Labor and Employment Officer, Ms. Menzie Valite and SEnA Desk Officer, Ms. Ailene B. Tuliao. A representative from the establishment also witnessed the awarding.

Workers with work-related concerns are meanwhile advised by the regional office to seek assistance from the nearest DOLE office in their area to access a settlement procedure for all labor concerns and issues. ###
