Tuguegarao City, Cagayan – The JCI Tuguegarao Ybanag Chapter in partnership with the DOLE-Cagayan Field Office (CFO) and the Tuguegarao City Public Employment Service Office (PESO) held a Project Trabaho Job Fair at SM City Tuguegarao on March 15, 2023.

390 applicants attended the event to avail of job opportunities, with 30 jobseekers hired on the spot and another 68 near hires pending requirements, further interviews and other hiring process of participating companies. The activity was attended by 24 participating employers, 21 of which were local and 3 overseas.

Meanwhile, Ms. Johanna Jocelyn Alan and Mr. Reynald Alan, Senior Labor and Employment Officers from the DOLE-CFO, conducted Employment Coaching and Labor Education providing job seekers with the necessary knowledge and skills to increase their employability, improve their chances of getting hired, and were apprised of their basic rights guaranteed by the Labor Code. 

The collaboration between the JCI Tuguegarao Ybanag Chapter, DOLE-CFO and PESO is a testament that non-governmental organizations, government agencies and private sectors are working hand-in-hand in ensuring equal employment opportunities for all jobseekers. ###
