About 248 Government Internship Program (GIP) beneficiaries has been readied for deployment to different areas in the Province of Isabela after a successful two-day orientation to discuss their roles and responsibilities led by the Department of Labor and Employment – Isabela Field Office(DOLE-IFO) recently.

The said orientation was conducted at San Pablo, Isabela in partnership with the Office of 1st District Representative, Congressman Antonio T. Albano and Santiago City, Isabela through the Office of 4th District Representative, Congressman Joseph Tan.

The said beneficiaries shall be deployed in strategic offices in the aforementioned Isabela districts for them to experience the real world of work in public service.

Political Affairs Officer Mr. Sed Cruz from the office of Congressman Joseph Tan meanwhile expressed their gratitude to the DOLE for granting their request to have the program implemented in their district and for providing the youth an exposure to public service.

The beneficiaries shall receive P420 per day as stipend and shall also be entitled to insurance coverage based on the premium agreed by DOLE and the Government Insurance System (GSIS). ###
