Cabarroguis, Quirino - The Department of Labor and Employment-Quirino Field Office (DOLE-QFO) fulfilled its duty for career guidance and employment coaching through a seminar attended by graduating students in two different municipalities on April 19 and April 26, 2022.

DOLE-QFO Provincial Director Laura B. Diciano and her team facilitated the said career guidance and employment coaching at Bannawag Integrated School, Saguday, Quirino as part of the school’s career fair. 52 senior high school students attended the seminar wherein simple points about employment were discussed.

Diciano talked about factors to consider in choosing a career while emphasizing fulfillment in the aspects of personal and work lives.

“Your course later on can make or unmake you. Career spells your life. [Your] career is far [more] different from simply applying for a job,” she said during her brief discussion. “It is only you who could decide for what is best for you,” Diciano added.

Meanwhile, Labor and Employment Officer II Hezelyn D. Nera took part in the seminar by discussing the Department’s programs and career planning.

On April 26, 2022, another career guidance and consultation was held at Diffun National High School, in the province of Quirino which was participated by 119 senior high school students. LEO II Nera talked briefly about the Department’s programs and Labor Market Information which directly links to demographics, education, governance, dynamics of technology, and globalization. ###
