Bambang, Nueva Vizcaya - A total of 317 beneficiaries from Bambang, Nueva Vizcaya received their Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) program salaries yesterday, February 8, 2022.

The payout was held as the regional office gears to implement its flagship program and target more beneficiaries for 2022. 

Nueva Vizcaya Lone District Congresswoman Luisa Cuaresma extended her gratitude to Secretary Silvestre H. Bello III and to the DOLE - Nueva Vizcaya Field Office (NVFO) in her speech during the payout, noting the labor department’s continuous support to provincial beneficiaries. 

NVFO OIC-Head Elizabeth Martinez meanwhile reminded beneficiaries to use their salaries for their immediate needs, an aid especially crucial in these difficult times. 

“Ang inyong matatanggap ngayon sa halagang P5,500 ay bunga ng inyong pagtatrabaho at pagsisikap. Buo ninyo itong matatanggap at magagamit para sa inyong mha pangangailangan,” OIC-Head Martinez said. 

The beneficiaries engaged in community work for a period of 15 days, receiving a daily wage of P370 and a total salary of P5,550. ###
