Orientation and workshop for DILEEP and GIP staff held in Cauayan City


Cauayan City, Isabela - A three-day orientation/workshop for employees under the DOLE Integrated Livelihood and Emergency Employment Program (DILEEP) and Government Internship Program (GIP) commenced today and shall run until February 5, 2022. 


Among the employees participating in the said orientation workshop are DILEEP focal persons, TUPAD coordinators, Livelihood Development Specialists (LDS), GIP staff, Office of the Regional Director employees and staff under the Internal Management Services Division (IMSD) stationed in the regional office and those working in its field offices. 


The activity aims to imbibe into participants concepts that can contribute to a more effective implementation of the DILEEP and GIP for the year and beyond. 


The opening program was attended by Regional Director Joel M. Gonzales and Assistant Regional Director Jesus Elpidio B. Atal, Jr. 


It is important that every participant is able to lay out his/her roles and responsibilities in this workshop so everyone can function accordingly back in their designated areas, so our program implementation can be more efficient,” Director Gonzales said. 


Technical Support Services Division (TSSD) Chief Geraldine Labayani, DOLE - Isabela Field Office (IFO) Head Evelyn Yango, Quirino Field Office Head Laura Diciano and Livelihood Unit Head Menzie Valite also attended the activity. ###
