Our livelihood beneficiaries shall be trained on livelihood project proposal writing to imbibe a sense of ownership and to speed up submission of documentary requirements,” Director Gonzales said.

The trainers-training for livelihood focal persons and program implementers will kick off this month, with the training for livelihood beneficiaries on project proposal development to be conducted after. Outputs for the livelihood beneficiary-based training is a complete package of livelihood project proposals for submission and approval for funding by the Department.

We envision to implement more sustainable livelihood projects for the marginalized and displaced workers in the region to help uplift their lives,” Gonzales said.

The livelihood project to be implemented should have the capacity to improve living conditions, improve the economic situation in the community, and have competence in changing the lives and values of the program beneficiaries, and stakeholders are mobilized in the different phases of the project implementation.  ### FCA/
