124 Quirino beneficiaries benefit from DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program (DILP) assistance

DOLE Quirino Field Office (QFO) led the awarding of Kabuhayan Starter Kit to some 124 beneficiaries in this province in the 2nd Quarter of 2020.

Beneficiaries of the program were small entrepreneurs, tobacco farmers and rebel returnees from the municipalities of Aglipay, Nagtipunan, Madella and Cabarroguis.

The beneficiaries were awarded with livelihood assistance in the form of raw materials, tools, and equipment. The initiative aims to give recipients the opportunity to generate income especially with the pandemic affecting all sectors and the economy of the province.

DOLE’s Integrated Livelihood Program (DILP) is a program of DOLE which aims to help marginalized groups such as self-employed workers, unpaid family workers, low-waged and seasonal workers, displaced workers, marginalized fisher folks, women and youth, person with disability, senior citizens, indigenous peoples, victims of armed conflicts, rebel returnees and parents of child laborers who are unable to earn sufficient income to earn through the provision of livelihood kits.
