The members of the Sta. Clara Life Bringers Women’s Association of Aritao, Nueva Vizcaya hailed the DOLE RO2 for granting the DILEEP livelihood fund assistance amounting to P447,330.00 to finance their Butchering and Meat Processing project.

The women’s group shared an equity amounting to P113,650.00 to finance the annual rental of the slaughter center, skills trainings and other pre-operational cost to be incurred by the group.

The DOLE’s livelihood grant will also finance the purchase of butchering equipment / tools and cooking paraphernalia and to include the working capital for the raw materials and packing materials.

The implementation of the said project aims to equip them and even enhance their entrepreneurial skills and capabilities as they are being exposed to actual business venture in which they are the owner and operator of such business undertaking.

In order for them to manage sensibly and maintain their project, the beneficiaries planned to divide themselves into sub-groups to tackle specific tasks like the buying of hogs, butchering, meat processing and packaging and selling of their produce.  To ascertain excellent project quality and consequently the success of said undertaking, they will require each member to specialize in every assigned task.
